Just a few miles away, you will find the Terris Novalis, two striking pieces of sculpture relating to the old steel works of the town. Walking enthusiasts will enjoy the many walks around the town of Consett, whilst cyclists can take the C2C cycle route, taking in many lovely views. While Durham is 20 minutes away and Newcastle city 30 minutes drive.
