Originally built in 1856 for Sea Captain Russell Marston, the 5,600-square-foot property has been fully renovated and modernized over the past decade, retaining the character of a grand estate while featuring tasteful décor and elegant finishes. The result is the perfect balance of historic charm and modern amenities, comfortably and memorably accommodating up to 20 guests.
The home's central location in mid-Cape puts it in the charming Centerville Historic District, less than a mile from Craigville Beach, known for its wide sandy shore and stunning views of Nantucket Sound. Owners offer a beach pass if you prefer to drive to other area beaches! It's a short walk along the sidewalk to the water, or a quick two-minute drive. Just five minutes down Main Street, you can enjoy award-winning Four Seas Ice Cream, perfect for a treat at any time or after dinner. Nearby, you'll find the 1856 Country Store, which still sells “penny candy" along with gifts and souvenirs, as well as the library and a new playground.
