Enjoy a cruise from the pier just a short walk away around the splendid Loch Katrine on the fantastic Sir Walter Scott Steamship! The loch gave Sir Walter Scott the inspiration for world famous poem The Lady of the Lake, and in more recent times the popular Outlander TV drama was also filmed here. It was also the birthplace of Scottish legend Rob Roy MacGregor. The immediate area is perfect for all outdoor pursuits with numerous fantastic tracks and trails perfect for hiking and biking.
