Summary: A lovely old mansion undergoing renovation and upkeep in keeping with it's age. Scaffolding on the outside wall which made the entrance rather difficult to find especially as the sign was rather small. Lovely room, stone which kept it cool (much appreciated) but of course no double glazing which made it noisy from the families shouting and drinking with the children screaming and running, as they do! Actually the adults were louder than the children! Bed was comfy, room had both a fan and a heater, towels were plentiful and shower, when I worked out how to get hot water, was good. Lovely sitting area, plenty of parking so overall, recommended
