Summary:
This bright and airy third-floor apartment has plenty of space for your groups trip to Cincinnati. It is the perfect home base while exploring the best that the city has to offer. It is a short walk to several shops and restaurants, or a short drive to most anything in Cincinnati. Nestled in the trees, up on the third floor, our apartment has two large bedrooms each with a queen bed. We also have a kitchenette and a full bathroom. This is such a quiet and relaxing spot!
The Space:
The Observatory Hydeaway is a peaceful oasis above Hyde Park Cincinnati. It is the perfect space for getting swept away in a good book, while sipping coffee and looking out amongst the trees.
The apartment is great for business travelers, families, 2 couples, writers, adventurers, star gazers, and dreamers. We live in a quiet, safe neighborhood with great access to the city. Great area for a morning jog!
Guest Access:
Our guests have full, and exclusive access to the third floor of our house. It is a two bedroom apartment with one full bathroom. We don’t have a full kitchen, but we have a kitchenette that includes a mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, and some select dishes.
This apartment is accessed through a door in the back of the house and up a winding staircase to the third-floor. The guests do not have access to the basement, or any other floors of the house. The guest do not have access to parking, nor the garage.
The Neighborhood:
Our neighborhood Hyde Park is a historic neighborhood with lots of beautiful homes! It is located on the eastern side of Cincinnati, approximately six miles away from Downtown Cincinnati. Much of the neighborhood is situated between Interstate 71 and the Ohio River. At the center is Hyde Park Square, which is within a 2-block area which features a park in the center surrounded by retail shops and restaurants. Its centerpiece is the Kilgour Fountain, which features a draped female figure with fluted basins. It was donated in 1900 by John and Charles Kilgour. The Graeter's Ice Cream parlor has been present on Hyde Park Square since 1938
Other Things to Note:
Guests must provide a valid driver’s license or ID and sign our Rental Agreement after booking to receive arrival instructions. Parties & unauthorized gatherings are strictly prohibited, and hosts reserve the right to withhold arrival instructions of confirmed reservations from guests with negative or low reviews, are under 25 years old and/or live closer than 100 miles from the home at the host's discretion in an effort to ensure the safety and security of our community, (impacted guests will be notified shortly after booking, and a full refund will be provided if the guest cancels the reservation in a timely manner).
PET FEES: Guests are required to disclose how many pets will enter the home. A one-time fee will be required based on the length of stay for the following amounts:
$35 (Less than 5 nights)
$50 (5 - 30 nights)
$100 (30+ nights prorated daily, or $75 for each additional full month booked)
Interaction with Guests:
We provide our guests with for privacy, and do not plan to greet you upon arrival. The owners live on the property, if anything should be needed.
