It is a magnet for watersports enthusiasts from sailing and sea fishing, to kayaking on the river. Fowey has it all; coastal walks and boat trips out to sea to spot dolphins and seals can be taken from the quay, as can a ferry across the bay. The pretty little beach at the quaintly named Readymoney Cove, is a short stroll away and the perfect spot to explore the rock pools, go crabbing or simply lie on the beach and enjoy a Cornish ice cream.
