Summary: The room: Bed was very comfortable. Clean, soft sheets and nice comforter. Coffee in room and freezer section in mini-fridge were greatly appreciated. Weather stripping on the door was loose and disconnected in sections. The main areas of the room were fairly clean, but the bathroom could have used a bit more attention as well as more supplies...toiletry dispensers were barely full and only one less-than-half roll of toilet paper on the roller (no extra to be found). I'm sure we could have asked for more, but we only realized it late in the evening, and we shouldn't need to ask as that should be a given. The staff: The gentleman at the check-in desk was very personable and quick to offer dining suggestions when we asked - The Cattle Company Restaurant, where we had one of the most delicious burgers I've had...ever, deserves a mention. We did not interact with any other members of the motel staff. Breakfast was typical continental with the addition of breakfast sandwiches...they were ok. More fruit options would have been nice. We did not use any other amenities. Laundry was available, but we did not use. The pool was closed; we knew that when reservations were made. For the price we paid, I expected a bit better quality - at least of the supplies, cleanliness, and breakfast options. It appears to be an older motel...no problem with that as long as they are clean and show evidence of being maintained.
