Summary: Staff on arrival were very welcoming, we were treated to a surprise complimentary room upgrade which was lovely. Booked a table for dinner and given a drinks voucher and the table was laid nicely as it was our anniversary. However, 1 of the waiters who bought our drinks was quite rude and you could tell he didn't want to be there. He took our drinks voucher but didn't remove it from the bill (luckily I checked before paying) the food service was very slow and there were some mix up with the allergy matrix, however I will give credit to the chef/team as they checked all the food before and advised what I could & couldn't eat. The food however was really nice! Breakfast the following morning was a bit disappointing and there wasn't much for gluten free on cold buffet, however they did cook fresh hot food and had gf bread/toast too. Breakfast on our last morning took forever to be seated, noone came so we sat ourselves and then had to find someone to ask for gluten free. The rooms don't have Aircon and it was warm, especially overnight, though there was a small fan provided.
