Summary: I hope other rooms are better than ours. The toilet, hand sink and bed were the only clean things in our room (thank god). Everything else was disgusting. Our window was permanently open meaning outside noise kept us awake. The room as poorly filled with furniture, for example there was a small table with a kettle and coffee/tea on but the cable didn’t reach the plug nearby so completely useless, we had to balance the kettle on the radiator to reach the plug. The floor had many holes in covered by the dirtiest carpet I’ve ever seen. The bath had a hole in filled with rust and the slower stand was broken. The toilet was in a separate room to the bath but once a 6 foot person was sitting down the toilet door wouldn’t close as the space is too small. The tv remote was underneath the sofa, that had clearly never been moved, so we didn’t know we could use it until it was too late. The wardrobe had no hangers in either. Our room was downstairs, the bottom of the stairs was filled with broken or un-built furniture and looked a mess. We paid £100 for 1 night for 2 people and we will not be returning. The member of staff we spoke to before going into our room was very polite and the location was great so if there are better rooms then maybe consider it but we won’t be returning.
