Beautifully appointed and plenty of room to gather with a huge fully fenced & lushly landscaped back yard - a perfect place to unwind and recharge while exploring the Delaware beaches and coastal region.
2220 square foot single family custom home with vaulted ceilings, wood floors throughout, large living room, well-stocked and updated kitchen, dining room for family dinners or board games, separate TV/media room. Large Master Bedroom suite with king-sized bed, updated walk-in shower, walk-in closet, cathedral ceilings, and ceiling fan. The second bedroom on the first floor includes blackout curtains and ceiling fan, and is next to another full bathroom. Two more bedrooms and a third full bathroom are upstairs.
All bedrooms are comfortably outfitted with quality mattresses and have cable smart televisions. The rear yard is fully fenced and beautifully landscaped, with a Trex deck, patio furniture on the deck, picnic table, outdoor shower, charcoal grill, & bike rack with cover. (Bikes not provided, but recommended for this location!)
Gas fireplace is available for the colder months of the year. Located on the Bethany border in Ocean View, just a few houses from Hocker’s Grocery and restaurants, easy access to the Fresh Pond Bike Trail, and just steps to the Assawoman Canal Trail perfect for biking or walking. Bethany Beach center is just a 5-10 minute drive (depending on traffic.). Just a 3 minute drive to James Farm Ecological Preserve and the Indian River Bay for hiking, kayaking, and swimming. Holts Landing State Park is a 10 minute drive. Biking to the beach takes approximately 12-15 minutes via the canal trail and Garfield Parkway. Walk to the beach in roughly 45 minutes, or walk the canal trail to Turtle Walk in 20 minutes and then take the shuttle. We are also a short stroll to a new Ledo's Pizza and Yellow Fin's next to Hocker's Grocery Store.
This location is ideal for checking out all that the Delaware and Maryland beaches have to offer. Drive 10-15 minutes north to the Delaware Seashore State Park and Dewey Beach, 20-25 minutes north to Rehoboth and Lewes, or head south and it's a 10-15 minute drive to Fenwick Island State Park and Fenwick...20 minutes to Ocean City. We also love visiting the Bethany Nature Center, Ocean View's John West Park (a short walk away), and the Delaware Botanic Gardens.
Delaware regulations require all guests to sign a lease agreement. A lease agreement will be sent shortly after booking and must be returned signed and completed within 24 hours of receipt.
This is a smoke-free property. Absolutely NO SMOKING or VAPING is allowed.
If you are bringing one dog on your trip, the additional $25 nightly pet fee will be included in your quote when selecting 'Yes' to pets. We allow up to 2 well-behaved dogs over the age of 12 months. An additional $25 nightly fee will apply for an additional dog, and payment for dog 2 will be requested separately. Dogs must be pre-approved by the host and not left unattended at the property unless crated.
