The house features an open second floor with vaulted ceilings and a wall of glass windows and sliding doors that open out to a wraparound deck. On one end of the open room is the Living Area which is centered around a brick fireplace with sofa and chair seating, plus TV. The Dining Area anchors the other end, and opens into the Gourmet Kitchen. It has granite counters, stainless appliances, and breakfast bar.
Two of the three Bedrooms, including the Primary, are also on the second floor. They share a full bath. The other Bedroom, a full bath, and a TV/Family Room with seating and work area are located on the first floor.
In addition to the large deck with outdoor seating that opens off the upstairs living spaces, there is a covered first-floor patio, outdoor shower, and fire pit.
The private Down Harbor Association beach and dock is a short bike ride away at the end of the road. A walking path with boardwalk leads down to the sandy Katama Bay beach. The calm waters of the beach are a great place for swimming, playing, standup paddleboarding, or kayaking. The association dock can be used for drop-off and pick up, but there are no tie-up or overnight privileges. The bike path is at the other end of Down Harbor road. South Beach is about a mile and a halfway and downtown Edgartown is just over two miles.
