It's within walking distance of a nature preserve with marked trails and saltwater access and an ideal location for quiet walks.
Enjoy nature, take the canoe out to explore the pond, or go fishing right on the property. The porch makes a great place to relax and enjoy the large grassy backyard.
The home is an original Sears Roebuck kit house from the 1920s. It has been thoroughly updated and renovated. However, the layout has been left unaltered, and most of the furniture in the living-dining room is from the 1940s and 50s and gives the cottage and “old fashioned” cozy feeling. It is not a fancy but a comfortable place. The rooms are all situated on the ground floor level, making them easily accessible for the young and "mature people". The original 100 year-old wood floors have been refinished and provide warmth and character to the home.
